Cameron Black
Cameron's background deals with highly available complex online transactional and reporting database systems. As a database administrator for EFSnet he manages real-time finacial transaction and replication across two domestic datacenters functioning in a 24 x 7 environment with a 99.999% uptime over the last 6 years. He manages over 6 million transactions daily stored in four clustered OLTP Oracle 9i databases that has custom implemented PL/SQL replication procedures to syncronized and log transaction activity across multiple datacenters.
Prior to becoming a DBA, Cameron was a PL/SLQ developer, which implement object oriented design and programing in both the OLTP and OLAP databases. Some of his accomplishments include an integrated security and encryption scheme with single one use access cookies to pass all Visa CISP certifications.
